The dramatic stalactites and stalagmites you'll see on your guided tour of the Sorek Cave are the result of the way rainwater has crept in from the surface, dissolving the limestone over thousands of years.
As you walk through this warm (22 degrees C), 91-meter long cave, you'll see a rich array of shapes in a variety of mineral-based colors. Among the fun shapes are a huge, rippling rock curtain, rock macaroni, an ice cream cone, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and a lion. Use your imagination to discover many more.
